Severe Thunderstorm southwest of Prospect Valley at 6:05 pm moving east at 15 mph. Quarter size hail, 60 mph wind gusts, very heavy rain and dangerous cloud to ground lightning are possible with this storm.

A line of Strong thunderstorms extending from south of Keenesburg to Bennett to Louviers is moving southeast at 15 mph. Very heavy rain, hail, wind gusts to 50 mph and dangerous cloud to ground lightning will be possible with the storms.

It's amazing how dangerous a few inches of rushing water can be. Just 6 inches can knock down an adult and 12 inches can carry away a small vehicle. Whether you're on foot or in a vehicle, if you encounter flooded roads: turn around, don't drown.
