Wednesday was another sunny, warm day across our area, not so for all of the U.S. Wondering about our next chance for rain? How long will the warmth last? Rain chances increase today, but Friday rain is likely. Much cooler temperatures expected this weekend, but warmer next week

The Lyrid meteor shower peaks tonight, however the moon will be quite bright & might outshine a lot of the meteors. If you're up late tonight & still would like to take a look, cloud cover looks to be on the low side for most, except for the western mountains & central VA.
