Amazing. Would you be happy for us to use the picture to inspire some of our other volunteers? Full credit will go to you, naturally.

Come rain or shine, Kynance is always stunning! However, please be warned that this weekend the beach will be EXTREMELY BUSY. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment and always check the tide times. There are of course many other stunning beaches locally....

This summer we just can’t seem to keep books for our younger readers on the shelves. So if there is anyone out there who has good clean books (ideally for under 10s) they are willing to donate, Trelissick second hand bookshop would love to receive them!

Throughout the 2 weeks we may be able to take adult volunteers on the day but cannot guarantee places. This will depend on the numbers of staff and volunteers we have already, and also the weather which can halt progress ☔️ 2/2

Thank you 🙂 We may be able to take volunteers on the day but have had an overwhelming amount of support in response to the volunteer ask so cannot guarantee places. You're very welcome to come along to the viewing point to find out and chat to us about the project

This tapestry of Judith and Holofernes is back on display in the Library. It's very big at 7 by 3.5 metres and is from the 1600s. It's quite gruesome as it depicts the story of Judith beheading Holofernes as he was going to destroy her city of Bethulia.

Can you spot what was behind the bed? It’s a door! To a very small cupboard with some lovely wallpaper. It also shows an original early doorway that would have led the nuns possibly down an external staircase. Always lots of surprises in this old house!
