We're sharing an excerpt from Every Day Nature by every day this week to encourage us all to notice the nature around us. Explore a damp corner of the garden, you'll likely find a woodlouse!

The English Daisy, modest but lovely little flower we usually see springing up in lawns around now. They like nothing better than to be mown short, and a new set of flowers will appear as if by magic within a day or two. Perfect for making a daisy chain necklace with.

If you squint your eyes a bit, this could pass for a painting hanging on the wall. Can you guess where this view of the garden at Coleton Fishacre was taken? 📷 Rachel Stammers

April has arrived, and so has our Read Christie choice. We’re reading Sleeping Murder, an intriguing Miss Marple novel with a fascinating origin story. It’s a story Christie disguised, and it’s a very good one! 📚
