Parts of the roof here at Coughton are prone to flooding so this week we've been up on the roof doing a bit of investigating! We've discovered that some of the lead was fitted nearly 200 years ago! It's currently being patched until we start the re-roofing project next year.

There's still plenty of colour in the garden! We decorate the house with fresh flowers from the borders and there's plenty of rusty reds, glowing oranges and shimmering golds to be found throughout October.
