New tweak on my repo! NoScrollbarGrabDelay: removes the delay when trying to drag a scrollbar. You can just *flick* scrollbars now if you want.

And only works with iPhones. Not even iPods. You sound like the PM in my scenario :P too focused on making the experience "perfect" for a specific set of users, while totally alienating people like me who would buy it in a heartbeat if I could plug it into something else.

That's terrible. Again, just because some speakers do it terribly doesn't mean the HomePod would only do it terribly. I think ideally I'd want a button with a little pair of LED lights above the button with symbols printed above each light. And obviously for it to not dictate it

You're overthinking it. Plenty of Bluetooth speakers have both. This is a solved problem. Could be solved with a switch, a button, a Siri command like you said, or just defaulting to the input jack if something is plugged in.

React native. That argument hasn't held water for a while now, nor is it enforced for "regular" apps that update the UI server-side.

Back in the day, the argument was they required access to a file system. Then it was about executing code. Now, it’s presumably on rightsβ€”but plenty of emulation is fully legal. The entire thing is nuts. Plus there are pseudo emulators like PICO-8, which aren’t on the App Store.

I like to imagine this conversation took place at least once: ο£Ώ Engineer: you don't want a 3.5mm jack in the HomePod? ο£Ώ Product Manager: correct E: why not? PM: it doesn't need one E: but they're so cheap, it would onlyβ€” PM: no E: the added benefitβ€” PM: not another word

Also curious. What's the default low power mode throttle?

. have you noticed the odd behavior in the editor when typing? Notably that feels sluggish Here's an example, notice how my emoji bar keeps flickering (because the predictive bar keeps flickering behind it)

Sending this to my bosses and whoever else I need to at my company. I've "fallen" for two emails already, because they spoke perfect English and used my full name. One of them was about a package, about the time I was expecting a package, too.
