The 1st death in Nigeria has been recorded. The case was a 67 year old male who returned home following medical treatment in UK He had underlying medical conditions- multiple myeloma & diabetes & was undergoing chemotherapy Our thoughts are with his family

Kindly note that NCDC will not be commenting on the management of individual cases. The management of cases is the responsibility of States and treatment centres and they are doing their best under difficult circumstances.

I strongly believe that covid19 cases in Nigeria is above 200 and you people don't want to open up, I think is better to give Nigerians the exact numbers, create the panic and people will stay at home.

How do you justify this claim, I think its best we raise the panic level in Nigerians to aid in getting everyone here Isolated by giving out the actual figure of persons who have been confirmed with this Epidemic, Covid-19 is real and Nigeria can't combat it this way we're going

Lockdown!!!! Shut everything in other to contain its spread. Some people are still at work today as if nothing is going on! My God🤦🏾‍♂️. Even people went to Jummat on Friday and some to church yesterday😫.

How many test kits available? how did ogun Ekiti Oyo and Edo state confirm the cases without testing kits, because last time i checked is only Lagos and FCT that have the kits
