This video is a week or so old. How far has the mole gotten?

The mole is 40 cm long and is buried a total of ~37 cm so far. Since October 8, I’ve hammered on three separate occasions and have dug nearly 2 cm (3/4 of an inch). This video combines those hammering sequences from beginning to end. Today’s update: go.nasa.gov/2oPrOh3

Is there a plan after the MOLE has dug a little deeper to put its holder back over the hole to help guide the ribbon cable into the hole so not to cause drag on the edge?

No plans of moving the heat probe’s structure. Next steps will be determined by how much progress we make in this campaign. More testing on Earth is needed, but there are a few options being considered: go.nasa.gov/2oPrOh3

My team put out an update today, read: go.nasa.gov/2oPrOh3 Since Oct. 8, the mole has hammered 220 strokes over 3 separate occasions. Those hammering sequences are in this video. It'll take more hammering to see how far my mole can go: go.nasa.gov/2oPrOh3

Did anyone else notice the bug in top left hand corner of this video? Looked like a roach to me. Very fast moving.
