Any attempt to weaken or end Roe v Wade is unacceptable. The Senate should reject Kavanaugh's nomination, but Congress must also be prepared to protect women's freedom with legislation if necessary. I certainly am.

A woman’s right to decide what to do with her own body should never be up for debate. Brett Kavanaugh poses a threat to the protections so many depend on for their reproductive care. I and urge my Senate colleagues to stand up for women’s freedoms.

Brett Kavanaugh was chosen for his extreme views. The last thing we need on the Supreme Court is a radical justice with no respect for women’s reproductive freedoms. Proud to stand with in support of access to women’s health care and reproductive freedom.
