This cute young chap in the parka is now one of our technicians! Our curator Louisa spotted little Ben when looking at pictures for our exhibition : Photographs by Martin Jenkinson. The second pic is Ben now, framing the picture for the exhibition, over 35 years later 🙃

Some beautiful drawings of ’s national emblem, the thistle, for . The artist, Rose Mawson, was disabled & spent time painting wildflowers. Her sister gave them to us in 1942 because she'd loved a wildflower exhibition at the museum & wanted to say thanks!
