Here's the english version of our interview with Navalny - the first he gave after his poisoning.
For the first time after his poisoning, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny discusses his near-death experience, Putin's alleged responsibility and Merkel's visit with him in the hospital.

On Merkel: "I thanked her for her efforts and she said: 'I only did my duty.'" As an American in the era of Trump, my eyes turned a bit misty when I read that.

Ditto. Brought me to tears. Powerful leadership, fortitude in the face of pressure, subtle intelligence and deep humanity in Merkel and completely absent here. The depth of our fall in one line “I only did my duty”.

No doubt it is Putin's responsibility, just like the MH17 and Nemtzov's and Politkovskaya's killings. Even if one did not give the order but just could not properly control his dangerous pets, it is still his direct responsibility
