The Department of Operational Testing in 2011 concluded: "LCS is not expected to be survivable in a hostile combat environment." LCS= Useless unarmed fast boats

Correct. I should have said *navigable depth*. The 13.5 meter in the middle means nothing because max draft to enter Kerch Strait is some 8 meter, harbor of Mariupol is some 6+ meter. Also Azov is much less saline than open sea = ships lay deeper in the water!

Perry class is old, now given away for free. All more modern U.S. Aegis ships have 10+meter draft. Kerch Strait has navigable depth of 26 feet
