In 1978, before I returned to college for junior year, my brother gave me a Texas Instruments Speak n Spell and said, “pretty soon it will be possible to make a hand held device that holds all your data.” I wanted to make that. I failed. It was 18 years before Palm Pilot.

Oh, no! The trailblazing poster artist Wes Wilson has died. Wes made 26 posters for Moonalice, 3 for me, plus a reprint of his iconic 1965 anti war poster “Are We Next?” for a Moonalice show in SF’s Union Square prior to the 2016 election. Apparently, the answer was “yes.”
