This article brings me great sadness...and I completely understand. It is not enough to say that we as a Latinx community are strong & will stand up to hate. The question is this: who is linking arms w/ us while our community is under attack?
The shooting attack in El Paso has left many Latinos deeply shaken, raising questions about their place in American society.

Yes, it does feel like Latinos are being hunted down and it's inspired none other than trump himself with all the racist, bigoted hatred rhetoric he spews at his every rally. All the blood is on trumps little pudgy orange hands and he's NOT going to be able to wash it off

I am! Always! I'm an older white woman but my family is of mixed nationalities. Trump's rhetoric threatens the people I love. I will always stand with the Latino Community against hate and division.✌

The President of the United States is doing more than dividing your country. He's starting.a race war.

El Paso and Mexico. Notice the memorial in El Paso... not to be disrespectful. But President Trump is building his wall... out of the Blood, tears, and fears, of the UNITED States of AMERICA .! God Bless AMERICA!

I am. I did wonder what Mr. Aguirre’s clients meant by this below. That Jews were targets & now they are? That they are an American success story that is resented? It struck me as odd so would like help from anyone with a better understanding of what he meant. (Yes, I am Jewish)

I, for the life of me, don't understand how 30% of hispanics can vote for Trump. I don't care where you stand on issues, if someone says you are an infestation then there's no way I'd even think about voting for that person

I'm guessing that the pain of having your group minimized, diminished & preyed upon is excruciating? And I'm imagining you're longing for the same safety, peace & understanding that all humans longs for? Checking-in to see how you're feeling Mónica (personally & collectively)?🙏
