It bothered me a bit that churches were declared essential after Easter and before Eid.

"Outside agitators" was a dog whistle for socialists and considered a cause for the unrest, not an escalator. In the modern case there have been documented cases of outside agitors attempting to ramp up the violence but the protestors have been turning on the agitators.

I checked the statewide results earlier this morning. Trump got more than all the Democrats combined. (Of course they still have another week to vote in Philly so...)

Trump won hard today in my town. There was some serious smack talk from Democrats, but OMG the numbers.

4) mail in ballots seem to favor Democrats, but that might be the result of spin. 5) lower voter turnout though that may be covid and the moved date. Any thoughts?

Not a pundit/wonk/statistician but my conclusions are. 1)Trump support is better now than before. 2)Republican support is stronger. 3)Biden has better Democrat support than Clinton.

In 2020 excluding mail-in ballots (counted separately) Trump took all but 2 of the votes. Sanders took ~1/3 and Biden about 2/3.

Of the mail in ballots there were 37 requested running ~60% Democrat. Of the ballots returned ~80% were Democrat. 1 Democrat requested a mail-in ballot and voted provisionally on-site.

Of the people in person 76% were Republicans. There were also 5 independents/3rd party members who were varying degrees of upset about not having a ballot to vote on.

We had 100 people turn out today, down from ~160 in 2016. There were ~23 absentee ballots turned in and counted at the county.

Election thoughts. I was clerk of elections today in Port Matilda PA. 600 citizens, ~350 voters. 60-40 Republican.
