HVAC funding!!! There isn't any AC in most schools - it isn't about updating, it would be about installing. Many don't have AC or windows that open. $50 M - 1% Board gets $500 k. Less than $10 k /school. Has anyone costed HVAC?

It was money for ventilation (I question what can be done in this short amount of time), and he allowed Boards to use their reserves to hire teachers/caretakers for more phys. distancing and cleaning. Sounds good, but there weren't any new investments or class size reductions.

What do all these big numbers mean in tangible terms? What does it change? Even if we can hire new teachers - where do we put them? Gym - extraneous furniture? Library- 1 extra classroom? What do these numbers mean in real terms? It’s not even any new money.

Why are we not asking the question “what the heck kind of HVAC do they have that it needs to be upgraded? Why was it not upgraded before?” I don’t even know what to say. 26 days? What upgrades are we talking about?
