32: So for the first time since episode 4, this episode and the next two are ones I've owned for many, many years and have already seen. Just wanted to put that out there. Nice to be back on familiar ground.

32: I love how Oob's only memories of Goku are comprised of footage from the first episode. Would've been nice to see some kind of glimpse into the intervening years. Hell, even footage from Z 291 would've been more appropriate.

32: I've always thought that, even for Dragon Ball, the Elder Kaioshin's plan of pulling out Goku's tail with pliers seemed far too cartoony. I mean, look, if you grab one of my fingernails with pliers (please don't) and pull it out, you're not going to find more fingernail.

32: I'm not looking to start another DB music scandal, but I have always, ALWAYS thought the piece of music playing when Boo talks about his love for Satan sounds just like, EXACTLY LIKE Luke and Leia's theme from Return of the Jedi.

32: This is what I'm talking about. Seriously. I can't be the only person who's made this connection. This Dragon Ball GT BGM is the exact same as "Luke and Leia" from Return of the Jedi!

It's very similar, but I wouldn't call it outright plagiarism. Sounds more like an homage.

I don't see how the two could possibly be any closer. I mean, this is closer than the work that got Yamamoto fired.

"Oh, geez. Let me just pitch these two notes lower." Welp. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ That is not a great look.

Yup, clear plagiarism. It's a good melody though.

Yup. That is clearly plagiarism. How can people even argue that? Listen to it multiple times.

As much as I'd love to call this plagiarism, it doesn't qualify as such. Not enough is the same. This may be a classic example of involuntary inspiration. I once composed something awesome but weeks later found out it was from Hunchback of Notre Dame haha
