Red, amber, green according to how well they did! Easy, quick feedback from parents at home. Definitely would like a parents evening or similar to launch it properly though! Have started sending home emails to let parents know but it is a bit of a hefty task!

Variety of Do Nows for the department to print off and hand to students as soon as we get to our (various!) rooms. How are the starting lessons with moving around school?

Trying a new self-quizzing format by using the ASSASSIN phrases to form a parallel text to be learned with Year 11 homework... What is everyone else doing for homework? Seneca? ActiveLearn? What do you prefer and why?

Parent Support Resource that follows the Homework Schedule so that parents can engage in students' MFL homework and self-quizzing by doing their own low stakes testing at home before the weekly test in class. Interested to see how it goes!

Hey everyone 😊 I’ve been asked to do an assembly on European day of languages. It’s my first year as HOD and just wondered if anyone had any resources/PowerPoints about this? Gracias and Merci in advance 🙌🏼😊

I'll see if I can send you some screen shots! Very interesting discussion on accents and pronunciation and how we should explore this with students via do now activities. Putting pronunciation into context by relating it to locations in Spain & LA, good stuff!

I’m trying to find ways to intervene and support pupils in KS3 and KS4 languages with any catch-up, post lockdown. New SoL, homework and knowledge organisers made but wondered if anybody else had any other ideas that could help, please. Any ideas please. 🙏🏻

Thank you for sharing your year 10 French booklet. I have used your work as inspiration to create a year 10 Spanish booklet for my class. Had fun doing this.

Au revoir It's been a funny way to end the last 3 years here, but I have learned, grown & developed so much. New challenges lie ahead with the opportunity to support more MFL departments than ever before! It's always been the dream.
