There has been a shortage of vaccine - not sure if that's the reason. Will look into it as vaccination is a big part of the armoury to get on top of this hideous disease. Thanks for flagging.

Today is the start of Fortnight! Our Agriculture Bill will support farmers to produce, sell and export more British food. We are also improving transparency in the supply chain, ensuring more farmers get a fairer price

the question that needs answering is how? Will you put legislation in place in the trade bill on animal welfare, environmental protection and food safety to ensure future FTAs have the same standards? If we end up just trading under WTO terms then none of this possible.

Great blog by . And thanks for bringing it to my attention. We have to drive change and the future Ag policy must be about the intrinsic link between food, farming and the environment.

Well said by addressing the issue of food poverty - that we’re in danger of a “middle-class food policy” when we should be focused on families feeding their children.
