Freedom House is a neoconservative report designed to justify more US military interventions. It will always say democracy is dying because the US is not involved enough. Here is an actual freedom of the world report. Things are improving.

I support this. Let states split in two or three or four. Let cities declare their independence from their state. There is no reason anyone should be governed by people they despise. This will go a long way to reducing political hostility.

I'm with you Bertrand. It is perverse that multiple wars, drone programs, massive domestic spy programs, and a current humanitarian disaster (Yemen) barely make headlines, but this tabloid crap is everywhere.

I lost interest after the "get fucked" and cock sucking comments. I admire your passion, but you've got to be able to present libertarian ideas in a calm and intelligent manner.

The issue is not if MLK is a libertarian. He's not. The issue is not that there's nothing to criticize. There is. The issue is your stance that there is nothing redeemable. His opposition to Vietnam & upsetting the FBI for example. Calm down Jared. Work on your people skills.

Yes. He praised actions and criticized others. He had a period where he sounded like, and praised, left anarchist and a period when he sounded right wing. The point is your comment that there is nothing redeemable and that "Rothbard would laugh in your face" is a bit hyperbolic.

And since you're also mentioning Mises. From the Mises Institute:

I don't think Rothbard would laugh in the face of anyone defending King. Here is an article defending King and his tactics.

Best I can tell, anyone exposing the US government mass murdering innocent people is a danger to the Republic.

It's never really been explained why I'm supposed to be upset that Manning leaked this information. Why should I, average Joe American, care that he embarrassed the federal government with these leaks?

The current low unemployment is more likely caused by the end of a boom cycle. At least that is what Ron Paul thinks.

The left blame corporations for wages. The right blames immigrants. Both are using demagoguery, not economics.

SJW? White people? Let's try to stick to economic logic and property rights arguments. You're starting to veer off to alt-right talking points.

Any economist discussing which president gets "credit for the economy" is not an speaking as an economist. They are speaking as a political activist.

A "human error" like yesterday’s in Hawaii could, at any time, end nearly all human life, by triggering the US or Russian Doomsday Machines. It is a human error ever to have brought these systems into existence. Either they go, or we will.
