The two in there this evening evidently forgot all their other body parts too, to be fair.

Blokes with legs like twigs, sat on weights equipment for ages, sipping from huge water bottles, to rehydrate themselves after doing fuck all except checking their Instagram accounts, should all join one big gym, so that we can lock the doors and society can move on, enriched.

It's a judgement call. I can see what you're seeing, I just interpret it differently. If it had been a red I'd definitely have understood the call, even though I wouldn't have agreed with it. The fact there are a lot of informed, but differing, opinions, shows it's a tough call.

And you're entitled to interpret it that way. And if you been refereeing it, you would have been justified in sending him off. Just as the match referee interpreted it his way, and was justified in yellow carding him.

Firstly, if you think that's a forearm smash, you don't know what a forearm smash is. Secondly, referees aren't eighty feet tall and don't stand behind the posts. And lastly, I still don't think it's a red. And I'm Welsh. 😁

Not as far as I know, Pete. Unless I've agreed to and forgotten about it. It wouldn't be the first time something like that had happened.

Indeed, which is why I'd insist you were in black, ankle high, square toe Cotton Oxford boots, black Bukta shorts, knitted socks, and a long sleeved baggy shirt, with a proper collar.

I also coach mini rugby and I'd try to explain why the referee made that call. What definitely should happen is the World Rugby should urgently address tackle height, (I'd like to see waist and below), the ruck area (no off feet, look at jackling, etc) and the high ball.

But I am a parent of a mini rugby player and I thought the referee got it right. Other parents might not. What I hope we'd all agree on we should back refs. Also, if you don't want the possibility of your child getting injured, dont let them play rugby. Or football. Or cricket...

Not at all. That could happen very easily. Have you played much rugby? Genuine question.
