To make matters worse, these major changes are being sneaked in by the government through the back door with scant detail and a lack of advance warning... 😑

The government's plan will displace UK workers during an economic crisis. This is NOT taking back control of immigration policy! 😑

This is a shameful scandal. Unlimited inflows from around the globe into UK jobs, just as many Brits face the sack... 😑

This is quite outrageous. It will weaken immigration control further and risks helping drive settlement beyond even the record highs of a decade ago. It will also reduce the incentive for employers to train British workers 😑

Perhaps this is what happens when social workers are empowered to make judgments about a migrant's age instead of relying on medical evidence...?

. says Britain is betraying those who cross the Channel by sending under-18s to adult facilities. Where is the outrage for the flagrant disregard of UK law by people who illegally cross from safe countries...?

Thanks to for making it clear that the public are concerned about the illegal Channel crossings. The government must act to rapidly boost security, enforcement and removals.

Why are we letting global work immigration rip just as youth unemployment is rising rapidly? Talk about bad timing... 😑

It's NOT true that there are no legal or safe routes. The resettlement schemes alone have (since 2015) seen the arrival of 25,000 refugees, half of them are children. This is more than any other EU country has done.

Many UK companies want to exploit cheaper foreign workers, but it's the government's duty to say NO, not to "make it easier"... 😑

What possible excuse can the French give for allowing this to happen? Meanwhile, they continue to press for full access to British waters from 1 January 2021. Hmm... πŸ€”
