The self-isolating notion of "owning the libs" must be deconstructed and opposed over and over again. It must be made clear to as many as possible that it is the same as gouging out your own eyes. (20/x)

But his cultists? They are not fallen adepts. They are slaves that have been poisoned, both against themselves and the world. I have no idea if they can be reached in any meaningful numbers. I can only hope that we can successfully inoculate others against being seduced. (19/x)

And yet, they cannot be reached by mere love & patience. Tr*mp is almost certainly unsalvageable. I can hardly be bothered to care about his salvation anyway, or any other black adepts. (18/x)

They are the proverbial monkey that is "deaf, dumb & blind." This is not an abilist insult; black adepts are in truth suffering from a grave psychological/spiritual disability. They are closed off to reality, a closure that the vision of love would open. (17/x)

. . . the black adept slowly spirals up their own assholes. It is no coincidence that fascists are inevitably incompetent. Just as they manipulate their followers into isolation, so too does the black adept isolate themselves from external reality. (16/x)

It is what allows them to attack experts & expertise w/ absolute confidence, & it is that which sways their followers. Yet without balancing that with the vision of love - the perception that the self does not exist separate from the collective, that all are connected (15/x)

I don't have answers to the problem. My only solace is that black lodges inevitably implode. The vision of power - the realization that all authority is an illusion that only exists so far as we all agree it does - is what allows black adepts to create their cultural tumor (14/x)

And yet, I do know there are those who "went down the alt-right rabbit hole" and escaped. They were reached by people who were able to penetrate their isolation. But how much are these outliers? Are they one in a hundred? A thousand? More? Is it worth engaging one on one? (13/x)

Without their cultists, the black adepts of GOP would be powerless - they are their first victims, a slave army turned against their own self interests. Yet reaching them is nigh impossible. At best, we can inoculate others against being seduced. (12/x)

It's a bit of a pickle. I don't believe in martyrs. The key is breaking through the isolation, and that may take more emotional fortitude than I possess. My gut response is to write them all off as lost causes (or as calls them, "re-programmable meat-bags." (11/x)

To be fair, I think it is naive in the extreme to think that it is as easy as "not getting triggered." These cultists have been trained to emotionally assault anyone that disagrees, and it is unhealthy in the extreme to willfully subject ourselves to that. (10/x)

However, there is a key difference in this particular form a black magic; while it is ingenious in manipulating others into shunning the cultist rather than the other way around, that does leave the power over whether they are isolated in our hands. (9/x)

How do you get through to someone in a cult that has shunned the outside world? How do you penetrate a black lodge? Occultists will tell you that you don't, that they are lost causes. You can't help someone that sees you as the enemy. (8/x)

(The "three schools of magic" are basically just the three tasters of classic Chinese iconography - Buddha = black school, Confucius = white school, Lao Tzu = yellow school. Anyway, I digress). (7/x)

In the poetic language of the hermetic tradition, this is what is known as a black lodge (in the Orientalist appropriations of the 19th century Occult Revival, black lodges are corruptions of the white school, while the black school of magic is considered incorruptible) (6/x)

It's simple negative reinforcement. And really, why would I choose to spend time with someone that makes me miserable? At a certain point, most of us give up - and that is the goal. I have arguments in my head just *thinking* about seeing my family (5/x)

In this iteration, the cultist is being trained to manipulate others into shunning *them*. I haven't spoken to my father in about two years, as each time I do he essentially punishes me by starting an argument, even though he knows neither of us will change our mind (4/x)

It's actually a rather ingenious version of one the central features of most cults - shunning/disconnection, where cult members are told they must cut off all contact with friends/family/*anyone* that challenges their worldview (3/x)
