The idea that there might be a tiny bit less Gove on TV is giving me a feeling of sadness in my bones. The world is imperfect after all.

Probably not, as they generate methane emissions a) Too many people travelling too much b) driving around a mass 15-50 times greater than the person they transport Bicycles aren't carbon free but far better than cars if the cyclist eats a low carbon diet

You know how every time someone thinks up a new low carbon vehicle, someone else says in fact it’s lethal for the climate? How about those four-legged things - what they called - you know - clippety clop ??? Would they be good?

Being forced to read Wuthering Heights at 16 for AS level English ignited an interest in literature, the English language and languages in general. Without that book I wouldn't have gone onto further education, met some brilliant people and had amazing experiences.

Loving the scenario emerging that the Tory MPs are voting for candidates they don't support. Lovely symbol of duplicity and of course being justified round the clock on the media by cynical hacks.

No. It wasn’t two papers that were spoiled in the Tory Party election. It was all of them.
