confirm they've indeed now met the Certification Officer's 5pm deadline on the McCluskey election. The CO now must now decide whether Unite's response answers Gerard Coyne's complaints, or if they merit a full inquiry

Lord (Jeremy) Hutchinson was the last living candidate from the 1945 election. Are there any surviving candidates from the 1950 election, or by-elections between 1945 and 1950?

Bolton tells me stint in Brussels ended March 2016. Yet he’s remained overseas member for almost 2 years since then & gained big discount

That would have had to be in 2016, which is when he became an overseas member of National Liberal Club

Henry Bolton tells me he qualified for overseas membership of Nat Lib Club by living in “Brussels, seconded to the EU”.

This is definition of overseas membership of Nat Liberal Club. Henry Bolton has been overseas member since 2015-16

Maybe there is some explanation for this bizarre situation. I’ve texted Henry Bolton to ask him.

As I understand, Henry Bolton is still an “overseas” member of the National Liberal Club. So presumably the UKIP leader lives abroad.

Bizarrely the “V” means before Nov 2016 Henry Bolton become an “overseas” member, which gives him big discount (75% off fees after 5 years)

This is Nov 2016 membership list of Nat Lib Club showing Henry Bolton by then no longer a “Political” member.

“Political” member of Nat Lib Club means they sign form saying they are “Liberal in politics”. Yet Bolton joined UKIP in 2014
