Sometimes I feel the urge to reply to climate change deniers but then I remember there is a block button.

Even if you can not walk out or go to a rally today please spread the word. Let people know that there are those willing to stand up and fight for a better world. There are people who care and we can change. Take a selfie or post a pic with and get the word out.

Remember we can change things. Today is the Global Climate Strike where a lot of young people are walking out of their schools to fight for climate change and many adults are walking out of work to join them. Please give them support, spread the tag!

We live short lives and its easy to forget out that historically we have suffered and overcome. It can be frustrating to see us as a race repeating mistakes but we also know that those bad things can be stopped but we have to remember we can do something. And every voice counts.

I worry because it feels like its gotten to the point where people actively reject good news, solutions, and change. Like yes, there are a lot of bad things going on, its understandable to feel numb and helpless but that does not mean things can't and won't change.

These are really tough times but be careful about social media, twitter especially. I can't help but feel that we've become surrounded by negative news and negative opinions so often that people are starting to feel like this is normal. THIS IS NOT NORMAL!

I think people can get mad over small things but I notice on twitter when people vent it tends to turn into an echo chamber. I think twitter has become a bit of crab bucket where a lot of people have become convinced this negativity is normal;;;
