Do you suffer from 'female fury'? "Experts say female fury reaching epidemic proportions." This piece seems particularly, and in so many ways, on point today, lol (TY, JM for the shoutout)

Coming up on 📻 Kate is talking to & Sami about her awful & confronting experiences of online trolling, this one in particular (not an isolated episode) following an error she made. Must listen!

Did you actually read her piece? Did you read the names she was called and the things people wanted to do to her? You really think that’s ok?

Please help! People like Paul try to tear down people like for mistakes with name-calling. Let’s amplify ’s voice and follow her, retweet her and tell her how much we value her contribution to women’s sport and lgbti rights.

Paul do you realise this is a person who has worked tirelessly for others that you are calling a moron? Have you never made a mistake? Kate is intelligent, caring, and human. If you knew her you’d be ashamed at speaking to her like this.

Sometimes, those who speak up the most, want things to be better, and call out crap conditions and unfairness are the ones that suffer the most. People don’t look past a disagreement to see the person inside, and all they have to offer. Keep raising hell, Kate. 💜

There is never ever any justification for the vile abuse you suffered. No doubt inflicted by pathetic men who failed to thrive or achieve anything with their lives. You’re wonderful and I’m always in your corner.

Her grandma passed away, but Kate continued to visit the elderly, giving them joy and respite. She’s just the best person - has more intelligence and kindness in her little finger than the trolls. Please follow her, retweet her, support her. Amplify her voice.

We became fast friends because of similar experiences growing up - family violence, abuse, etc. kate also has the biggest heart. While caring for her dying grandma recently she also began caring for other elderly people in the home who had no family.

Kate fights for and researches marginalised groups. Her work and research will help ensure others don’t suffer. She has a PhD, having studied and worked in family violence. She sits on advisory groups.

This piece made me cry, not least because Kate is a dear friend of mine who has overcome so much adversity and who does so much for others yet was attacked in the most vile way, attacks which continue to this day
