I hope co-driver Donall Barrett makes a good and speedy recovery. Donal has been a great support Donegal Dublin Business Network. The Donegal rally is a real community & I’ve no doubt all the organisers & officials involved will come together in support at a time like this.

Desperately sad news from My thoughts are with Manus Kelly’s wife Bernie and their children and all the family. He was a top class competitor and a great asset to the county, the rally, motorsports in Ireland. 1/2

. is bringing in regs to do two things for workers and their tips - amend existing law to ensure tips and gratuities cannot be used to ‘make-up’ a worker’s wage. - employers must clearly display how tips, gratuities & service charges are distributed.

There has been other less effective legislation proposed. It won’t work as well and we’re progressing our own more effective ideas instead.

Inniu le na daltaí as Scoil Nasiunta San Carlo, Leixlip. Ag seoladh tionscnamh nua don ár dteanga - PE as Gaeilge. Ceist amhain ... an raibh duine ar bith ar an páirc imeartha ag caimiléireacht!? ‘ Súil agam go bhainfidh na daltaí & na múinteoirí sult.

Since my appointment as Minister I’ve said that pay inequality is unfinished business. I stand by that. I came to to hear all issues. Everything was up for discussion. And we did discuss pay inequality.

My sympathy also to the teaching community in UAE & all of the couple’s friends. The death of a loved one overseas is a deeply difficult circumstance for any family to deal with & our embassy will be there for you.

Mór an onóir dom labhairt ag Comhairle Oideachais na hEorpa inniu sa Bhruiséil. Phléamar an Breatimeacht, mic léinn trasteorann, ceangail idir ollscoileanna, clár Erasmus agus neart eile. An Ghaeilge á labhairt i gcroílár na hEorpa, mar is ceart!
