Due to staff shortages, the Kealakehe Transfer Station Green Waste Site will close at 10:00 a.m. today (Thursday, 3/07/19), and will reopen as regularly scheduled on Friday, March 8 fro 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Please drive with caution as the traffic signal timing has been updated along Kanoelehua Avenue from Kawailani Street to Kekūanāo’a Street in Hilo. The goal is to improve traffic flow, especially in the morning and afternoon peak times. Adjustment ongoing until early March 2019.
