There is a clear pattern in recent Liberal corruption such as the WE scandal and this one involving the husband of Trudeau’s chief of staff: Create a new program handing out and then outsource it to benefit family and friends.

Six months ago authorities were telling us masks were useless. Now they’re imposing it everywhere. We are governed by clowns. Why not adopt a more balanced and rational approach like Holland?

Governments will never adopt sound economic policies unless more people understand basic economics and are not fooled by promises of free stuff. My favourite thing tank, Mises Institute, is launching a series of short videos: Economics for Beginners. Check it!

Economics and culture are intertwined. Government intervention fosters dependence, irresponsibility and family disintegration. Inflationary policies make us focus on easy gains instead of long-term work and planning. Big government destroys society and moral character.
