It was originally designed to be a strung together sketch show like “Mr. Show.” The shorts were self contained, but fed into a bigger through line for the half hour.

The casting and voices are also a cool process of projects. Marvin was Eric’s first Looney Tunes role. Before Eric, Marvin was voiced by the great Joe Alaskey. Joe’s last performance as Marvin was in 2008. Then Marvin had no official voice until Eric came along
