My Ma still has a pretty strong upstate dialect but I've been told mine is pretty neutral. My dad took us on a pilgrimage to York Barbell when we were kids! There is a museum as I recall and then we loaded the station wagon with plates from the factory store.

Grew up on Maryland's Eastern Shore (which has its own interesting history) saying y'all though my folks were 1st gen Italian-American from Upstate NY. Grad school in TN def reinforced it and I'll catch myself dropping it in NorCal on occasion to some interesting looks...
