If you're in Boston, stop by the New England Holocaust Memorial & think of Steve Ross. He survived horrifying abuse at the hands of the Nazis, arriving in Boston a refugee at the end of the war. He contributed so much to this community. He will be missed.

The Department of Energy is attempting to evade crucial energy efficiency standards for common light bulbs. By 2025, this move will cost consumers $12 billion in lost savings each year. It's almost as if they want to increase greenhouse gas emissions. We are suing.

Right whales are essential to a healthy ocean, and a healthy ocean is essential to healthy humans. These animals are on the brink of extinction. Thank you to for highlighting this critical issue.

In MA, we took steps to protect patients from the gag rule, but this decision will have deep impacts across the country. This rule forces providers to choose between federal funding for their patients in need, and providing them with full, accurate information.

This Administration is using its power to fulfill anti-abortion extremists' wish list. The gag rule on Title X—a program which historically enjoyed bipartisan support—will reduce access to reproductive health care, especially for people who already face barriers to care.

We have child labor laws for a reason. These companies should not be taking advantage of our young people.

This Lowell realtor deliberately targeted vulnerable people who were facing foreclosure and struggling to find help. He stole over $580,000. He abused his position of trust, and now he's headed to prison.

A woman is the boss of her body and her life. The law should not force her to carry a pregnancy if she doesn't want to. We've proudly filed an amicus brief in Preterm-Cleveland v. Himes—another blatant attempt by anti-abortion activists in Ohio to fracture Roe v. Wade.

We're taking on Medicaid fraud across MA. Last year alone, our office recovered $46M. In the dental industry, we resolved allegations with Kool Smiles for $1.7M, Dental Dreams for $1.3M, and Dr. Watson for $500k. If you suspect something, report it here:

If your dentist is raffling off Bruins tickets, something's up. Our Medicaid Fraud Division caught a Canton dentist running a scheme that encouraged patients to get dental work in exchange for kickbacks. Apple TVs, gift cards, and more. He will pay a steep penalty.

Despite a court order, EPA has failed to reduce dangerous air pollution from upwind states that blows into Massachusetts. This means our residents breathe more unhealthy ozone and our state has a harder time keeping our air clean. We are suing.

I am fighting these rules and all the bigotry and misogyny they represent. This week, we submitted two comment letters in opposition.

Now, let's consider a new rule by Betsy DeVos. You're transgender, and your college—which receives federal dollars—refuses to house you. Or you're a single mother. Your college expels you for having a child out of wedlock. The Trump Admin says Title IX won’t protect you.

Say you were sexually assaulted & your provider won't give you emergency contraception. Or you identify as LGBTQ, were recently exposed to HIV & your doctor won't provide you with prevention methods. The new rule means such doctors don’t have to refer you to the care you need.

The Trump Administration has proposed two new rules that will allow faith-based medical providers or colleges to deny basic protections to patients and students. This could be an issue of life and death. Let's consider some scenarios.

“Because I was a young teenage female, they felt like they could take control of me.” - Chipotle employee We reached another major child labor settlement this week, this time with Wendy’s. This penalty is one of many violations by the fast food industry.

Imagine, you're 15, you're doing your math homework, and then an ad for JUUL pops up on your computer. That's exactly what we learned about this company. They went after young people, and made billions in the process.

Equality should have no deadline. State AGs urged Congress to act, and the House took an important step towards the Equal Rights Amendment. ERA now!
