A boost for Rugby League in Fiji. Although the NRL are sometimes criticised, they recognise the benefits that can flow from expanding their footprint. It's also useful when you have the Prime Minister on board. Worth imitating!

This is going to radically change the nature of the Man of Steel award. So has he thought it through? And is he going to rename it the Albert Goldthorpe Medal, since it is going to virtually replicate what we do in ?

On the subject of the Dragons, it was interesting that when we previewed their season last week and ran a competition for a replica shirt, we had a massive entry from readers. Their popularity seems to have soared recently. Maybe that was the RFL's plan all along!

A shout out from me to . Superb media event with everyone available who you could want to speak to without restrictions. And the players couldn't have been more cooperative. A perfect illustration of how a media day should operate. Well done Matthew Hennessy.

Don't worry, you're still just a youngster. Getting older can be worrying, but not as worrying as when you stop getting older. Have a great day! You deserve it.

A good point. At one time, before the Wigan dominance from 1988, the Challenge Cup often threw up a different winner each year. In the ten years before 1988 there were eight different winners.

If you are struggling in the way you suggest then perhaps the club needs to examine its strategy, as does Super League. We need to be marketing led, rather than rules led, as we seem to be.
