you're quite right Richard, 5 RTR were in 4th Armd Bde for Op Crusader, equipped with M3 Stuarts. They switched brigade afterwards and converted to Grants.

it's a vector of many things, I would say Allan. History and geography are clearly key but evidently those factors inform the sense of patriotism in many countries. Switzerland is the curiosity - with no recent history of invasion and consistently high scores
