The definition of impeachable offenses should not change based on the likelihood of conviction. At least one political party should put the Constitution ahead of political considerations.

Of all the terrible things the Trumps have done, playing kissy-kissy with the Saudi murderers ranks right up there.

Compare this Lindsey Graham tweet with his old comments in which he said impeachment was appropriate for Clinton even if no crime was committed. It’s obvious that Graham has ceased even trying to be a statesman and has embraced his role as Satan’s cheerleader.

It's stonewall time. Which is what corrupt politicians do when their lies start losing their effectiveness.

When this national nightmare is over, I don't want to hear any lapdog Republicans suddenly speak up about how much they detested Trump. You're already late in showing any courage, GOPers. Jump off the bandwagon now before it plunges off the cliff.

The egomaniac-in-chief meets with Twitter’s boss because he’s worried about his follower count. What a sorry excuse for a president.

You fall into a coma shortly before the contested 2000 presidential election. Almost 19 years later, you wake up. This is the first video you see.

As Mick notes, Rahm is in no position to lecture the media about digging deeper. As mayor, he used public information as his personal political tool (to reward sycophants and punish real reporters), and he kept inconvenient facts away from the press as much as possible.

Trump is depressing. But even more depressing is the industry of lies built by Fox News and the Republicans. They are not narcissistic nut jobs like Trump. They are simply greedy for power and willing to do anything -- even subvert democracy -- to achieve it.

A big factor, I think, is Fox News and other propaganda media. They make gullible people think what Trump says is real. And the silence of the Republican Party is deafening. This may be an extinction event for the GOP. It should be.

Russia, if you’re listening, please create even more bots to serve as Donald Trump’s Twitter followers. He’s feeling a little insecure today.

The Republican Party is such a liars club. Here’s Gym Jordan lying that Mueller said “no obstruction” when Mueller explicitly said he was *not* exonerating Trump on obstruction.

As a kid, I was fascinated by the story of "The Emperor's New Clothes," in which a king thinks he's wearing fine clothes but in reality is a naked embarrassment. Yet his followers pretend he's well dressed. I didn't know at the time that it was a tale about the Republican Party.
