Dropped in to today’s CPG on Stroke, which included a Skpe link to North Wales, & regret that I was unable to be there for the full meeting. The Group was taking evidence on ‘Life After Stroke’ as part of the its inquiry into the implementation of the WG's Stroke Delivery Plan.

recently announced that we would fight to protect Community Health Council independence & we will fight this proposal. A centralised inspectorate & disbanded local health councils just put more control & less accountability at the feet of a failing Health Minister.

2/2 The 1st Eisteddfod Powys was held in Wrexham & sponsored by Syr Watkin Williams Wynne. It is therefore of historical significance that it will be held in the Wrexham area on its 200th celebration next year (July 17 and 18, 2020).
