Nbpoc get on my last nerve....y’all swear y’all are so educated and respectful but still wear our culture as a trend and aesthetic. Yes it’s a protective hairstyle but for OUR hair texture. Y’all aren’t smart at all, you can respect us and admire us without trying to copy us.

Their hair doesn’t need braids like that bc it was never meant for that type of hair texture ... wig or not idc

It’s called a stylistic choice I guarantee you that some black girls don’t even know what a protective style is and still get them for the same reason got them for the style and that their cute ✌🏽😇💖

I'll be honest I have no idea why braids are a protective Style..But ppl that get weaves&such to make their hair the same texture of a white person's hair..I don't see any white ppl complaining about that so why can't white/Asian ppl wear braids? It looks cute so what's the issue?

White people have nothing to complain about black people mostly straighten they’re hair to get a job or because someone has told them their hair was unprofessional and protective hairstyles are used to keep moisture in during the winter or very hot days whites don’t need that

Most people wear braids to grow their hair, trust me, I love how it looks and I’m 14 but my hair can’t grow without them.
