Throwback to Nick Sweeney’s reign in the throws in the Ivy League. Nick graduated from Harvard in 1992. He went on to represent Ireland in the Olympic Games on four occasions (92, 96, 00, 04). Nick still holds the Harvard discus record with a toss of 62.48m (204’11.75”). 🇮🇪

This unexpected "stay at home" time without practice, has afforded me an opportunity to go through a "time capsule's worth" of old clinic notes, DVDs, audio cassettes, and books. 2 things for younger coaches: 1. Find great teachers 2. Enjoy the process with like-minded peers.

Same set of eyes I look for while watching warm ups for the 4x4 relay to determine who will run anchor leg. No fear!!! 👁 🐅

Great quote. If you haven’t read 11 Rings I would highly recommend it. After I read this book I dove into tribal leadership a bit thanks to a book bought me. Coach Jackson is an amazing manager of personalities.
