I’ll be introducing a bipartisan resolution next week affirming that Congress holds Kim Jong Un responsible for the death of Otto Warmbier.

Please check first with the family. They have suffered so much that I think it should be their call

I see now that you are a first term congressman. If you run for re-election,or for another office, I will be contributing to your campaign

Awesome. And for anyone who thinks that this will stop Kim from nuclear disarmament, kissing up to him also won’t work so stop with that idea. Kim is a dictator & is responsible for every action of his military. He knew. He ordered it. It’s how things are done

Tom, you have always fought for the freedom of North Koreans & I thank you from the deepest part of my heart. My dad told me a crazy story (he only tells stories once too so I pay close attn)—they were running south, he & his family. Literally running. That’s all they could do...

And they had to cross a river to flee the communists. The river had frozen over. My dad said that that river never froze but it had that cold day. He ran across, scared & looking back he watched as the river cracked & ppl fell in. He watched families go down; oxen & animals too

And as he was falling in, his uncle reached in from the bank & saved him. If that river hadn’t frozen over that day, he would still be trapped in N Korea. Instead, he made it out, came to the U & raised 2 GREAT kids—but it could’ve been all different had that river not froze.

From an American I thank you. From a mother I thank you. From a grandmother I thank you. It hurts my heart terribly to imagine that young man's despair, knowing he wasn't going to be saved from North Korea. I'm so sorry for Otto Warmbier and his family.

Thank you, Congressman. We must not forget Otto Warmbier and we must not forget Jamal Khashoggi, both of whom lost their lives at the hands of despots embraced by Donald Trump.
