Was out again this evening taking the message to voters in Cathcart. Should maybe get an early night for a busy day tomorrow.

Disgraceful and, I trust, merits a little visit from from Police Scotland on the grounds of threatening behaviour. What are we coming to?

For those who think throwing milkshakes is either amusing or acceptable the problem is that there is a continuum which ends with this sort of thing. Politics is about debate, not throwing milkshakes or petrol bombs.

Just flicked over to the Eurovision Song Contest, someone called Madonna is singing and she is very, very flat. Which country is she representing?

Is that on again? Not sure I've watched it since Kenneth McKellar wowed the entire continent with "A Man Without Love" back in 1966. Are our chances any better tonight?

I was one of the huge number who opposed the Iraq invasion but, contrary to your assertion, polling at the time tended to support the decision of the government and Parliament.

Glasgow City Council today passed a motion of No Confidence in Chris Cunningham Education Convener. Wondering if he has resigned yet or will he continue to arrogantly ignore Council decisions?

I note you avoided the issue originally under discussion and failed to explain why you voted for something which you stated last night you would not vote for. Your consistency is as unimpressive as your jokes.

I note that you either lied last night or changed your mind and accepted my argument this morning.

It is always quite corrective to remind the public of that ‘remarkably progressive’ SNP of 20 years ago.

Six weeks ago thought a Tory was so good he wanted to pay him twice as both leader of the Tory Group and Chair of Finance and Audit. Or did he perhaps think the posts should be paid and the duplication would be resolved?

I think we should all perhaps wait until legal proceedings are completed before acting on the basis of press reports of evidence. Cllr Meikle may also deserve the opportunity to consider his own position before any of us, from whatever party, rush to act.

I repeat, for the benefit of the deliberately obtuse or knowingly malicious, there is no nominee from any party in relation to remuneration. The suitability of any individual to hold a remunerated post is a different issue dealt with under entirely separate procedures.

No, the post attracts the payment, not the person. We do not pay you over £30k because we think Cllr Gow deserves it but because the role of City Treasurer merits it. The next City Treasurer, whoever that may be, will receive the same.

I am not aware of him being nominated for anything or any agreement to support him for a non existent nomination. Your point is irrelevant.
