Not knocking Cinemac - I use it regularly. Just saying "if we 'must' have a new cinema then there are some good models out there.

I think Knutsford are in the process of modifying their cinema to give more screens. Some years ago a multipurpose venue (The Cocoon) was proposed. Let's put that back on the table.

If we must have a new cinema why not look at the well supported Knutsford model which is actually Council owned. It is small, smart, popular with a small bar.

I am same with ibuprofen/nurofen. Depends how the product is formulated. Other ingredients can impact the rate of release of the active substance and its bioavailabilty. However I would agree with Martin's basic argument. Try the cheaper alternative - if it works for you great.

Not sure I'd have bothered sitting down. Just the sight of Doom Bar would have stopped me in my tracks.

The Macclesfield £19m redevelopment scrapped but CEC will be prepared to put £22m towards the new Congleton link road to get that built; so Congleton gets the cash again, the member in charge of finance is currently an elected Congleton Cllr, Bates.

What the developers are really saying is that nobody wants a development of national chain burger bars around a multi screen cinema - that includes the national burger bars. Only good news is we won't lose all that car parking space.

More Muppetry in on Waterside. They may have totally blocked the pavement but at least they didn't block everyone's view of the 'No Parking' sign!

Muppetry in . This must be one of yours - we don't get many Bentleys in Macc.
