One of our officers was assaulted with a hammer whilst detaining a suspect today. A completely unacceptable and cowardly act. Thank you ⁦⁩ for your assistance.

Sorry about that Diana, we had them out looking for a high risk missing person. Hope we didn’t ruin your evening. 😬

Ok, so this third one took my team a little longer, two hours from start to finish. Apologies to the residents of for calling the helicopter, , out but I thought it was reasonable to try and cover off a few leads.

Another one found. This time 18 minutes between declaring the individual ‘high risk’ and locating them. Great work by my officers!

Talk about getting quick results; missing person literally turns up 60 seconds after I declare them as ‘high risk’!

It’s in the best practice guidance. It’s also service policy. But that wasn’t your point. Your point was that we did it so we wouldn’t actually have to deal with anyone carrying weapons. Which, while it’s your opinion, isn’t based on any fact.

Can you help us find 16-year-old Daha Warsame who has been from the Putney Heath area since 13 May? He is known to frequent Croydon. If you see him or know his whereabouts, please call police.

It’s not about warning anyone, it’s about letting our community know what we’re doing. I don’t know any officer who shirks from arresting someone in possession of a weapon because of the paperwork.

No problem. Sorry I don’t have a decent map for you. Having defined the area in writing, I’d rather not put a map out than put a poor quality map out, if that makes sense.
