Knowing the basics of the policy/setup often allows us on the front lines to have a much more in-depth convo without too much extra effort

Also, is a great spot to learn about things. Great, couple page breakdowns of things like who finds Medicare, and how various aspects of health care work

Im also new to this, so still feeling my way. Easy resources are political and advocacy group for ACEP or the specialty college you identify with. Usually begging for people to start learning and be involved.

After just being in DC advocating, I think those standardized types of interactions with members of Congress is less than ideal. Better off taking time to learn 1 issue enough to discuss it, & have a story to tell about it. That’s what I took away from it all at least

Love this, but honestly I dislike when I get a “VIP” notice. Puts extra pressure on the staff, potentially makes us do things we wouldn’t typically do. Good medicine should be universal from patient to patient... would rather they kept me in the dark until the end haha!

If there's a funnier minute on a baseball broadcast this year, I can't wait to see it. is the best, and the death stare from has to be seen.
