Who is quarantined? Anyone who has had close contact with someone who is a confirmed case of COVID-19 infection. Close contact is defined as being within 2M or 6ft from a person infected with . This includes living with, visiting or sharing closed space.

What does quarantine mean? Quarantine does not have to be scary, rather it is an effective way to protect the public. It is defined as separating & restricting the movement of people who are exposed or are potentially exposed to a contagious disease.

On a sad note today we lost 3 more patients to the virus, bringing the total fatalities to 55. All had underlying comorbidities - one had diabetes, one diabetes & hypertension & the last one had cancer of the breast. May their souls rest in eternal peace. update

Today, we have; ⏺ 590 Covid-19 positive patients admitted in 35 various hospitals across the country. ⏺7 are in critical condition, ⏺4 are on ventilatory support ⏺3 are on supplemental oxygen. update.

In Kiambu, cases are from; ▶️Kabete, Kikuyu, Ruiru & Juja one (1) each. In Kajiado; ▶️2 cases in Namanga & ▶️ 1 case in Kitengela, In Kisumu ▶️3 cases from quarantine facility, all imported from Nairobi of persons who travelled to Kisumu for a burial. update.
