Looks like a segment of America's school to prison pipeline.

This building—in this context—makes this Brickell neighborhood special. The office of Dr. Jackson, home of the Dade Heritage Trust—a living historic record that represents a dynamic contrast imbedded in the scale and character of urban Miami. via

And is the Mayor using them on social media to ease the minds of scared white people during a time of racial turmoil? If he were, that would be wrong too.

Posting a pic of the “accused” prior to due process, w/ a broad statement about not tolerating violence, is a form of vigilantism & only further erodes race relations in an already volatile climate. It’s irresponsible, does nothing to curb violence. It only further promotes it.

It’s not difficult to get a starving, mentally ill homeless person from off the street to say what you need him to say. Disgusting. Try again, Francis.

What a great PR opportunity for you! And people wonder WHY race relations in Miami never improve. This is NOT leadership, Mayor. I think you should take this down. Who is this man’s attorney? Where is his family?

So you are relying on the “full confession” of a mentally I’ll homeless person of color during the most volatile moment in race relations since the Civil Rights Movement, and you post his picture on social media, before a full investigation and due process?
