Supreme Court did not determine whether civil society has locus standi or not when we appeals to the SC. They changed our appeal into a suo Moto and became a party itself. Also laws allows court discretion to commute sentences. So legally there aren't strong grounds to appeal

Life Sentence in case: Under Pak law life sentence means 25yrs. But provincial govt under Sec 55 PPC can commute up to 14yrs of any life sentence leaving behind a 9yr sentence. Shahrukh was arrested in 2012. Can only hope political influence won't be used.
