Statement from the Estate of Michael Jackson in regards to the documentary set to premiere at Sundance, 2019. They say they cannot take legal action unless the documentary uses copyrighted material and they cannot sue for defamation because the laws do not apply for the deceased.

This is why we need to get that law changed not just to protect Michael's legacy but other celebs legacies. It's not fair they can say whatever they want about someone when they can't defend themselves.
