After going crazy sitting at the house, we spontaneously decided to road trip out to Frederick. At our last stop visiting our good friends . As always, the beer is on point, and while the patio is small, it’s a perfect day to sit outside and sip on a beer! Cheers!

It’s the weekend, and it’s about time. Unwinding with this deliciously photogenic beer from . Juicenado 2 is a juicy NEIPA with tropical fruit notes and a coconut background (from the Sabro hops I believe), and it’s exactly what I needed. Cheers!

You’re right, it’s not a Viking sword, I know...Still, I had to break out some cutlery for this delicious “Norwegian” imperial stout from . Brewed with Kveik yeast, this surprisingly clean stout has dark stone fruit notes hidden with a bit of chocolate. Skål!

About to drink one of the Sapwood mini-crowlers as we speak. The bottles are always tough for me to open, because I know it’ll be good, but I’ll never get another. Glad I’ve got 2-3 of each one!

It is indeed. I haven’t picked up my bottles in months, so I need to swing by and do that soon. Just glad they’re able to keep everything rolling in these times.

...so it is. I’d meant to say Cabernet Franc. Shows I need to do more wine research!

Dusted off this bottle from my cellar, and what a perfect day for it. makes some delicious beers! First Blush has wine flavors (I get more white wine than the chardonnay), combined with some oaky flavors and a light tartness. Cheers!

Absolutely. I think the fact that the numbers were so close the first two weeks is an indicator of how many can be processed, and definitely not how many are actually unemployed.

Something to remember in that drop is some offices were closed on Good Friday, so a whole day for processing was lost. It’s possible the numbers would have been closer to the previous two weeks had it been a full week.

Terrible news for the brewery scene. I’d definitely encourage Maryland brewers to complete the survey, and as always, please keep us appraised of how we can help you. I want to thank you for the Herculean efforts you’ve been taking.

Who knows Nebraska breweries? I didn’t until tonight. Fairy Nectar DDH sure makes me want to visit and check out their scene, though. I didn’t know you could pack this much tropical into one beer. Cheers!
