There may be hope. I’m cautiously optimistic that this trend continues 🙌🏻

In my opinion, allowing paroxysmal AF to progress to persistent AF, would be one day considered malpractice.

Why nobody is talking about universal testing as the best way to stop the epidemic. We need to find the infected with no symptoms and isolate them. This is how Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Iceland and a few places in Italy defeated the corona virus.

Test all to identify asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic pts and avoid the spreading in communities and hospitals. A patient in ICU is way more expensive than universal testing. Prevention is better than cure

Michael why we are not pushing for universal testing? Infected people without symptoms are the one spreading this in the community and the hospital as well. Many examples around the world have shown that global testing is the best way to stop the epidemic

We lost several young MD in Wuhan in their 30s. They were young, healthy and strong. Still they got infected and in ICU for so long. On all the medications and even ECMO, they died in their young age. So pls regard this pandemic as a world war.

What will go down as the biggest breakdown in the US response to is the lack of test kits. South Korea and the US had their 1st patients on Jan 20 and Jan 21, respectively. Look at the difference in daily testing. By March 4th, SK was ~18,000 per day.
